One Word Photo Challenge: Indigo

Indeed there are many different perceptions of the color indigo as Jennifer Nicole Wells, host of the One Word Photo Challenge: Indigo, pointed out. I’ve always thought of it as a blue color with purple overtones and so I’ve included in my selection here photos of Delphinium and origami cranes. The cranes are made from traditional Japanese paper called Aziome Chiyogami Washi. (Aizome = indigo, Chiyogami = patterened, Washi = strong fibrous paper)
