An askew view of symmetry.
In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Symmetry.”
By the way… Someone at google has a sense of humor… Place the word askew, only the word askew, in the google search box, hit enter, and see what happens. 🙂
You’ll probably need a laptop or desktop to see results.
Wonderful photo!

It’s a gorgeous picture. Surely showing symmetry. I’m going to head to a laptop now to type the word…;-)

Thank you! If you don’t notice something right away, type another word in and hit search, then toggle between the back and forward arrows between the two pages showing the askew results and your other search results. This is what I had to do to get my family to see what Google had done, since they didn’t see it at first.
… And here’s a bit of a hint and something else to try… The same thing happens when you do a search for the word tilt 🙂

The picture is great, and thanks for the google laugh. I was wondering if it’d work in the German google, it does. 😀

Thank you and you’re welcome! After discovering the askew Google results I did another search… Apparently there are more like that, tilt, being one of them. 🙂

Yeah, I looked, too, but not all of them are working for me. Great fun. 🙂

Beautiful! I went to Lisbon over the summer and this photo immediately transported me back there.

It’s not tilted is it?

If you mean the Google search page when googling the word askew or tilted, yes it’s tilted! 🙂
