I was selected by both Jane from Making It Write and Krissy from Kneal1Poetry to write something for the “Love in Ten Sentences” event. If you haven’t visited Jane’s or Krissy’s blog, you should take a look. They are both unique and gifted poets/writers, much better than photographer me! 🙂
This post is also a response to today’s Photography 101 prompt, “home.” Home is where the heart is, and the hearts in the photo below are part of a collection in my home.
… OK. Ten lines, four words each, each line including the word love, and then include a favorite love quote… let’s see how I do…
Love’s gentle breath whispers.
Love tickles with delight.
Love cradles and caresses.
Love lights darkest night.
Patiently devoted, love listens.
Loyally steadfast, love sustains.
Love’s eyes brightly glisten.
Love warms away pain.
Love’s heart flutters joyful
seeing the one loved.

And the quote I’m sharing is by Paulo Coelho, taken from The Alchemist.
“One is loved because one is loved. No reason is needed for loving.”
I’m inviting the following talented blogger/poets to share their thoughts on love! …
Veronica – Simply Snapshots
Ruby – The Mind Junkyard
Akleneth – Scraps of Paper
Ray – Haiku Journey
Jeanne – The Exceptional Everyday
Amy – Snapshots, Snippets and Scribbles
Rashida – 876LoveR
Suzanne – CoolBreezeInTheMountains
DM Shepherd – Roaming at Large
Sandra – In Love With Words
Maria – Randomly Abstract
No worries if you don’t want to participate, but if you would like to share your thoughts on love,
make a post titled Love In Ten Sentences.
use ten lines,
four words in each line,
include the word love in each line.
and add your favourite quote on love.
Then list and contact ten or so bloggers to share their thoughts on love.
Include links to their blog and instructions on how to participate.
And have fun sharing the love!
I will try and we’ll see.

I’m in! It might be a week or so before I get to it. I was nominated to do something else for 5 days. I want to get that out of the way first. 🙂

I will. I have started working on it, but will need a day to let it simmer, I think! 🙂

Simmering is good… I refer to that favorite process of mine as letting something percolate 🙂

Hi Terry, I am finally posting my Love in Ten Sentences poem! Took a while, since my style is hard to hone into such forms. But, I did it, tried it, anyway! Thank you, again, for the invite.
