Spooky, shadowed, glowing bright
a treat to see you in the night
Flickering, glimmering, from within
Fright Lights!
Such a sight

My pumpkin carving efforts for 2015! It’s always such a pleasure to make these, light them up, photograph, and enjoy.
It’s also a complete pleasure to be making a post here on this blog after leaving it untended for several months. I hadn’t planned the absence, but often time fills with the unexpected. I find it can plummet forward at breakneck speed, leaving me swirling in it’s wake, fatigued and with intentions unacted upon. At first days fly by. Then days speedily become weeks, and weeks, months.
In the interim of non-blogging I discovered that I really missed it. I also discovered that it keeps the introspective introvert in me happy and fuels the progress of my photographs, which is something I really wish to pursue.
… So barring any major tricks that life might play on me, I intend to treat myself to posting on a regular basis. Wish me luck keeping time managed!
Hope you had a happy Halloween! ~Terry

Welcome back and LOVE LOVE your pumpkins.

I’m happy to be back! I really missed being here. Not only was I not posting, I wasn’t reading any of the blogs I follow either.
I’m glad you like my Jack O’ Lanterns. One of them met with an unhappy end today when my son’s overweight dog, who has been put on a diet, decided he was hungry enough to nibble on pumpkin!

Thank you! It’s good to be back! I’m glad you like my Jack O’ Lanterns and I’m glad I
got some good photos of them. One of them met with an unhappy defacing today when my son’s overweight dog, who has been put on a diet, decided he was hungry enough to nibble on pumpkin… or maybe he thought my aesthetics were off and decided a little gnawing was needed in addition to my carving!

I’m laughing, sorry, but this is so funny, and very Halloween. Gnawed pumpkins, how spooky can you get. 😀

It is funny! 🙂 … Stay tuned… Your comment inspired me to take some post gnawing photos. When you see them it will be obvious that I had a little too much fun… I might make them into a short slide show even though I’m not quite sure what I’m doing when it comes to editing video/slide shows…. Now I just need a few more hours in each day…
